About Cynthia Bernard
Bio
Immersed in color guard from birth, I grew up within Les Étoiles d’Or de Laval, surrounded by parents who were directors, designers, drill writers, technicians, and judges. I’ve been teaching for over 25 years, with an approach rooted in technique, design, sports psychology, and leadership.
My goal: to guide every team, staff, and performer toward their full potential through clear strategies and practical tools.
Mission
Color guard is more than performance it's an experience that transforms, uplifts, and unites. Too often, only the top performers receive support, leaving behind those who are eager to grow.
My commitment is simple: to be of service to everyone, without exception.
Through an approach grounded in trust and clarity, I support staffs, directors, and performers in their pursuit of excellence. Together, we set clear goals, execute with intention, evaluate, and adjust.
Vision
I want to create an environment where every team no matter the level has access to the tools and support they need to grow.
I develop sustainable solutions to help organizations structure themselves, offer strategies for administrators who often feel isolated, and support artists in aligning their work with adjudication criteria.
Every team deserves to grow. Every individual deserves support.
My role is to make that possible.
Values
Being of service: Prioritizing help and support at every level
Clarity and structure: Goal → Execution → Evaluation → Adjustment
